The United
Nations Association of Greater Boston has a
wealth of classroom ideas and activities that
can help us teach about peacekeeping and human
development. These include
"Adopt-a-Minefield", Volunteers making
classroom presentations, and Teacher's guides
and lesson plans for immediate use. Their new
publication, Global Classrooms: Peacekeeping
Unit is a standards-based 3-week unit with many
valuable activities. Contact them at http://www.unagb.org or email Lena Grenberg unagb@gis.net |
